MultiMix 8 USB FX gives you an impressive amount of routing options in such a compact size. MultiMix 8 USB FX also contains Aux Out and stereo Returns, as well as, Insert jacks on channels one and two to allow for audio to be processed by external effects engines. Reverb, Delay or Phaser can be dialed up simply by adjusting the pre or post fader knobs located within each channel strip. MultiMix 8 USB FX includes an internal effects processor to quickly and easily add new colors to your mix. A Tape RCA stereo input is also included adding the ability to mix in audio from other sources such as a CD or LP player. New to the MultiMix 8 USB FX is a high-impedance input on channel two, which allows direct connection of a guitar or bass this is a great convenience for singer/songwriters looking to get a clean, "hot" signal. TRS Line inputs are also available on all eight channels of MultiMix 8 USB FX. These XLR inputs also have a switchable phantom power option to accommodate both dynamic and condenser microphones. The send return is nice in such a small unit.įor the price its excellent to have around for multi use but like I said its flexible but it cant do it all, its very close to a one man show though if it had more outs (I got that infinite loop sch rill when used as the PDF suggests.) I love mine and although I have around $6K of keyboards on mine I use it as low end stage tool and dont try to push its ins/outs.
there just not enough outs and ins to run with a computer only (Yes its really only a sub mixer) But in a pinch its a swiss army knife in one high quality 1U box. I had friends and even tech support say it works. Its supposed to have channels 8/9 rout out and then back in and turn the effx send OFF on channel 8 and you can get a computer out but IT DONT. I used mine with a computer and used the loop as the send to the audio card. Its really cool to have 5 kbds on stage in a live setting with effx loop. Iv used mine for 10 years and it gave out (stoner moment) left on all night! The rane is Nice, I'm told it wont have $800 head room but.Ĭons, when used with a computer sound card you have to use the rane loop/send so a small sacrifice.
